Darby Darrow recently retired after 23 years of service for the San Diego Police Department. During that time he worked patrol, the Border Crime Intervention Unit, Gang Suppression, Academy Instructor, and 20 years on SWAT, 16 of which were at the elite full time Special Response Team. Darby taught firearms, tactics, rappelling, defense tactics and lockpicking. Darby has a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of California, at San Diego.
He developed and has been teaching Covert Lock Defeating for Law Enforcement since 1988.
